Its Monday. And im at home! No i didn't keng an Attend C to be at home, although I just went to the polyclinic to get a referral to NSC for my acne. Have taken antibiotics many times on and off the past few years, unsure whether it will be helpful. In any case, the damage is already done. So basically just hoping to prevent anymore outbreak and get 'excuse camou' from the specialist.
Ok, so back to the point. Im only booking in tonight because I wont be home next weekend due to live firing. Will only get a short 1 day off next tuesday.. Im just afraid that my iPod batt wont last me that long. Whenever I have nothing to do (quite often) or when I just dunwan anyone to talk to me (quite often too), i will just plug on my earphones.
Days in camp can really be so boring. The things I can do during free time are basically:
1. Sleep
2. Eat
3. Read books/newspapers
4. iPod
So you see how a dead iPod can take away a big piece of my life in camp.
By the way, an off on a weekday gave me chance to experience life like I haven't did for the past 6 months. The april-enlisted guys reported to their new unit. Its the monday blues and work started again for some. School just reopened, and the school beside my block is noisy. I saw students clad in uniforms going home just now. I was so jealous. Bleah.
Anyway, celebrated yutse's birthday on saturday with lekchia. Watched Get Smart at Plaza Sing and walked to Suntec and Marina Bay area. Ate a pork katsu set at this Japanese restaurant which was damn nice.
Then we went to the Esplanade where yutse opened the gift we had for him. Gave him a refurbished creative zen neeon 2 which was within our tight budget. haha. But luckily he liked it. Thought he would never get a mp3 player for himself anyway. lol.
Tried to take photos of the city skyline too, but it all turned out underexposed. :(
Before we went home, we took some photos at Raffles Place Park. Looked abit homo, but well, we are just good buddies!
Just glad that I have them to confide in with my problems. Lekchia always making himself available to meet me whenever we could make it during bookouts. He never questions what I say or how I feel, and its comforting when I need someone there listening. And yutse is the one I always sms my worries and everyday stuff to. haha.
:)
Okk. Its getting late already.. Gotta bookin. bye!
