06s66 chalet

Usually, when i want to listen to some music, i open my mp3 folder, spend a long time deciding on what to click, and finally pick 2-3 songs.

Most of the time, they are new songs from the latest albums.

They end up looping on winamp,

till sometimes, i totally forget the music is still playing.

Today, i enqueue my whole collection of mp3s, letting it shuffle, just like ipod shuffle.

The songs that were played surprised me.

Some songs used to be my favourites.
Some songs are really old but were still classic.
Some songs, i never played once, songs that appear to have been there just to top the album to 10songs.
Some songs, i dun even know who sang it - but 听出了另一份未知的精彩.

旧的好歌曲，重新回味。
经典的歌曲，依然经典。
遗忘的歌曲，听出精彩。

Its just like a memory flashback.

We pick our memories, we remember what we choose to remember.

Embracing present+future is good,
but forgetting to remember about the past.

What a pity it will be.

Got back from class chalet on friday. With oily face, dry hair, and tired.

Day 1, we met at pasir ris mrt. Took bus to Downtown East and walked to Aloha Loyang.

The place was very nice, compared to the chalets that i have went before. Our chalet was indeed small as expected. Garden terrace had only 2 rooms and 1 toilet and bathroom. But the facilities were clean and new. And i think that having a small chalet isnt that bad afterall. It made us looked like a big and happy family. =D

After setting down, we took a stroll at the beach, while waiting for the other group of guys to come.

Walking along the beach, digging out the assortment of items and throwing stones into the sea... And I still cant make the stone jump, dammmmit!

Then we returned to our chalet and the other group came already. Immediately, i started mahjong! some others watched, some others played cards.

I learnt to count tai2s from the mahjong pros rifeng and zhiyun. hahaha..


zhiyun is pro. and biqing is bored.



Then night came and we had maggie mee for dinner -_-. I duno who cooked them, but it was pretty plain. lol. But i cannot complain since i only ate and din help.

That night, 11 of us austin biqing cherngchu danny eugene jaryll kiameng martin zhexi zhiyun and me went for night cycling.

From the chalet, we cycled to Changi Village. We cycled in a single file on the pavement. Love the serenity and breeze and cool air when cycling! And the down slopes, and humps that killed billions of my poor tadpoles. We even met another group of cyclers who said hello to us. haha.

Not sure how long it took, but maybe about 30 minutes. Took a break at 7-eleven.



Then i understood why they were all so enthu about going to changi village, because we wanted to see... TRANNIES! lol. Kiameng went to ask the 7-eleven cashier where to find them, and she said the 'ahguas' come out at around 1am in the carparks.

It was only 11pm then, but nevermind, we still took a tour to the carparks, hoping to see some early birds. I thought it was empty at first, until we saw a lady/man carrying a handbag, standing alone along the road. We followed danny and eugene who seemed to have a deep craving for trannies, and got closer to the tranny. It was so scary, i felt like we were hunting for monsters.

Then we saw it. The first thing that any human being will notice is her ultra- super-out-of-the-norm-scary-looking-papaya-like-huge...br.. tweeties. But they were so amazingly 'sexy' that i was totally freaked out. It appeared as if she werent wearing anything on top. I kept mumbling 'oh my god' to myself and cycled down the road, pretending that nothing happened, but unconsciously trying to take a peek.

It was like seeing some ghost.

She had obvious masculine facial features although i couldnt lay my eyes on her face. What if we meet eye-to-eye!?!

Then we all cycled away and everyone finally exclaimed their suppressed surprise and 'oh-my-god's.

I may sound suaku, but still, it was my first time seeing a trannny.

On the way back, there was this pavement that was about 1m elevated from the grass patch. In fact, both sides of the pavement throughout the journey had potential of tripping the bike.

I am inexperienced and havent cycled for a long time, and was wobbling to keep the bike on the track, lol. Then i had no time to veer back on track after a turn and braked at the edge of the track, but lost balance and fell down.

Luckily i only had a small cut on the ankle. But thanks guys for helping me fix the stuck tire, some even staining their own hands. Everyone got back safe and sound.

We returned at about 1am. Played alot of mahjong, again.

Inside one of the room, there were 2 bunk beds, and we placed them together to get two storeys of queen size bed. Everyone squeezed onto the top and fought for space and blanket. Tried to tell ghost stories but none of them were scary.

Then late in the night we decided to watch the sunrise. Forgot whose idea was it, but all of us left the chalet at 5am and went to the beach, hoping to see the sun rising from the horizon.

everyone was tired and almost fell asleep. it seems like the sun rises much later than we had estimated. and also, the sun seems to be rising from a direction that we couldnt see from our position.





because we only saw the sky brighten. wth! later in the day waikuan told us that we need to go changi beach to see the sunrise instead. -_-

so everyone walked back and fell asleep till 11am, before we woke up for lunch. i think day 2 starts then.

walked to downtown east and ate at the foodcourt. then we went play pool and arcade, before returning for bbq!

i think rifeng loves to bbq. i always see him bbqing. just like during the athena bbq thing. lol maybe he just loves food. but anw he was very pro and the food turned out super nice. it was the first time i see a bbq so clean and organised.

din eat alot. scared my pimple continue to harvest... wth. ate alot of fried rice instead. ;D


y got ghostly light?

there was chicken wings, buffalo wings (?), satays, sambal stingray, fried rice... we thot it was too little at first, but we finished the food and i think everyone was full. lol

thanks rifeng, martin, nengjie and everyone for helping in bbqing the food, danny and eugene for snatching away all the cooked food, the girls for busy moving around all the food and stuffs, and me for helping to butter the food and fan rifeng and martin. haahaaha. the bbq was fun!



qichao came for a while too, and soon left with some of the guys.



eugene wanted to go home because his pimples were popping. he says he needs to go for facial. wth..

after the guys left, we cleaned up the place. er.. actually i din help much ;x lol. instead, i played with the fridge.

then kiameng nengjie martin and me went for a short swim at the pool. had so much laugh playing water wrestling. we kept losing our balance and falling down lol.

then everyone went back to chalet. everyone was tired.. so we drop plans for going out. me rifeng cherngchu and zhexi played mahjong 通宵, while kiameng went round helping all of us massage. lol.. he is good, but he wants to be better, so he asked us for opinions. he must be practising for the final test when doing full-body massage for we-know-who. =]

while we were mahjong-ing, nengjie was sleeping on the sofa. hahaha he keep changing positions and poses.

went to sleep at 5+ after playing finish the round of mahjong. and rise and shine, woke up at 9+ when the chalet lady came to check, and *hint to us to leave asap.



so we quickly packed our stuff and left the chalet. byebye chalet!

downtown east was decorated with christmas decorations. abit early rite.. i thought. now only mid november, still got a month more. but like someone told me, its never bad to make use of the festive mood to gain sales. lol.

Hm so that was the end. All of took the bus back to pasir ris and everyone left. :]
