Project Work

Hello.

Have been busy for the past few days..

Went to Changi Airport on monday night. And I like airports because airports are so cool. Its the only place where roads leading to it are planted with bright and colourful flowers and have illuminated road signs at night.



I don't know why but being at Changi Airport feels good.



Was walking around the crowded arrival hall. And there were still so many people although it was midnight soon. I saw many families too.

Why bother to go all the way to the airport i thought. Are people so eager to meet their family and friends? Normally I would just stay at home and wait for them to come home.

But obviously, people rush to the airport for a reason.

They could be parents awaiting the arrival of their child returning from studies abroad.
They could be wives waiting for her husband return from a business trip.
They could be friends welcoming friends returning from a short holiday trip.

But by being there, it show that you have been worried, anxious to make sure they return safe and sound. It shows that you care, and missed them while they werent by your side.


These kids got so excited when they saw their mum.

And I realise nothing could be more welcoming than seeing people you know, when you finally reach home. =)

Btw there were so many air stewardess walking around in groups and pulling their trolley just like those in movies and TV. And all of them look like models (except those from budget airlines), though their makeup was damn thick. Hence i conclude being an air steward is a good job. ;]

Project Work finally ended. While others are rejoicing the end of PW, i actually felt a little sad. I was lucky to have such a cooperative team. There were no tiffs, no major disapprovals and arguments and all of us did our work promptly.

Most of our meetings had full attendance. And i was late for most of the meetings. So sorry that everytime when its the decided meeting time, they always have to call and wake me up. But like Huixin always say, 迟到好过没有到. Lol.. Though many of our meetings were 'unproductive', but at least we really did the work at home when we say "go home and do". And who would have thought putting up a skit was so fun although we had so little time.

Meiyuan was like the main lead of the skit although he had the least dialouge. "DEH!" LOL. At least he managed to make the audience laugh when everyone was so nervous. Zhiyun was the best choice for a narrator with her clear and fluent English and her sweeet smile =). Huixin acted as herself and put up a wonderful performance acting as a TaiTai with her loud and auntie voice and actions. ahaha. Danny.... er. As compared to our rehearsals, he did the best for the actual performance at least. :)

So many rehearsals within a few days, repeating the same skit, but we got better and better. Spent hours making the props too, the tags, zhiyun's STARS board... all for just that 5 minutes. And not forgetting repeating the same speech over and over again, again just for the actual 5 minutes.

Not forgetting the late nights we spent rushing through our WR and OP slides too... Editing over and over again, just to make sure we produce the best for the final thing.

But hey, everything paid off! We did it! Our skit worked out well! We made audience laugh and we remembered our script. Even Danny memorised his long sentences! And our OP was smooth and well-synchronised. (although the funky auntie judge kept looking so bored and sianed) With the practices, I am so proud that i clicked at all the right times! And QNA was generally quite well answered, if not for us being so nervous. Huixin and Zhiyun answered so well. But its obvious we know our work because we spent so much effort on it.

We had times when we felt really 'sian', rambling about going home, had times when we cursed the person who proposed Project Work. But nevertheless, the uncountable meetings at KAP and danny's condo was undeniably enjoyable. We laughed, we had fun. And most importantly, we got to know one another so much..

Servicing Singapores Service, Stick To Appreciate Retail Service,... we are so creative!

Immediately after the OP, half of the class went for a 'celebration dinner' at Plaza Sing too. Then we went walking around...

Huixin always look unglam. Not my fault.

Then we walked around everywhere, apple shops, creative shops, wasting time playing with their products, before going home at 6.

Me, kiameng and danny went to take bus while the others took the MRT. Then i realised that I was still carrying Huixin's laptop in my bag because she had placed it in my bag since morning, letting me carrying it around. I thought it would be ok if i return her the next day, but she said she will be killed cause its her sis's. But by then i already boarded the bus.

See la see la, so smart let me carry la. In the end she took one big round to meet me at Marsiling. Lol.. Blur~

Having CIP tomorrow. Painting houses for the old people. hahaha.
