Countdown

Fireworks rocked!

Ended up squeezing at Esplanade again like last year. Thought we got a nice spot but din expect the fireworks to fly so high. So we were blocked by a row of spotlights and trees... and cameras too. Luckily i was tall enough, but I felt curses hurled onto the back of my head. =/

And there was once again no countdown this year. We thought that with the emcees on loudspeaker they would initiate a countdown. Instead, they told us to observe one minute of silence. o.0

And the fireworks started. WOOOOO~

The fireworks was nice, but I actually thought last year's was more exciting. Maybe a 5,4,3,2,1 countdown wasnt that necessary anyway. Spending that last minute of the year in silence and anticipation was nice anyway. =)

And when the fireworks end!... its time to....

And the squeezing starts again. I know the photo is blur and dark, but it cant be helped since there were so many ******.

I am once again amazed by the percentage of people there who were ******. It could be their first time watching fireworks, and they were really thrilled by it, but I cant help but feel disgusted with some of their unruly behaviour.

As I said, it seems like as we keep building more buildings, Singapore is seriously in danger of being overtaken by construction workers. Scary~

And I know 2007 will be great. Because on the first day of the year, I saw a RAINBOW!



Muahaha you wont know how long ago was it that I saw a rainbow. Notice closely and there is actually another fainter rainbow on top of it. I think? =)
