An Inconvenient Truth

Omg its finally friday.

Monday there was Chem SPA. Chem SPA is stupid because it trains our memorising and regurgitation skills. As Mrs Sarah Ong will say, "what has education done to us?". But anyway i learnt from my experience from the Physics SPA which is even more stupid because it involves us staring at a particular object swing, and I studied hard for Chem SPA. And I am so proud that I wrote everything I know in that 1-hour.

Tuesday was a slack day. But went to run 2.4 with lihui (a girl), the super ultra speedy gonzalez road runner lihui (a girl) who paced me 5 rounds, pressurising me with her approaching footsteps. Then she overtook me at the last round. -_- I maintained my record of around 1115. While lihui (a girl) ran 1045. She says she broke her own record by pacing me... ok i think that makes me feel better.

And lihui (a girl) can do 2 pull-ups! omg... what has canoe done to these young innocent girls?

So Wednesday we had PE and we... ran 2.4 again. -_- And in a day i improved by 15 seconds to 11 minutes! But still haven break the 10 minutes mark. So i assume that if I had started right on the starting line and minus away anyone who might have purposely accidentally blocked me and slowed me down, my timing is adjusted to 1059. =) Anyway its still not good enough. Must make it 10+ and not 11-. =)

Then there was CS. Cleaned a room with around 10 tables with "Siva Sucks" on it. -_- I hope he don't enter the room. He will be so demoralised if he does... =(

Anw the 2 days of 2.4 made me really tired and Thursday morning I basically slept once i board the bus and woke up at the HC busstop. And it felt good to sit right in front of the lecturer in lectures. And l3o caught me for copying Physics tutorial. -_-

Today was a long day but it passed very fast.

I told my mortal who I am already. Yes, Juliana, I am Green Tea. Your lame and crappy and cute angel who has a "hole for you to poke".

And I watched this movie call An Inconvenient Truth. I borrowed it from rental machines. Its SO legal. (actually its because the torrent is constantly downloading at a freaking 200byte/s) Its a documentary film about climate crisis, global warming, melting ice shelves etc. Educational, compelling and unnerving film.



The onslaught of floods, hurricanes, virus, rising temperature etc. seems to be signs that something is really happening... And the movie showed so much photos of receding ice shelves shorelines, disappearing glaciers, thinning ice caps, rising global temperature over the generations, especially in recent years etc, everything made the problem seemed so real and urgent. I was thinking if one day the Earth buay tahan suddenly earthquake, hurricanes, storms strike every parts of the world and there is Armageddon, it will really be too late for us to even fight against nature's force.

Then we will be like dinosaurs and disappear forever! Very scary leh...

We are only a small pixel compared to the entire universe. It wont make much of a difference if the whole planet Earth explode.

So I choose to believe that we should really do something to stop all the CO2 emissions etc etc. Watch the movie if you can. You will feel much smarter. =)
