the end is still far

This year's season has been surprisingly smooth-sailing. I remember I once said my goal for the team was to enter second round. I aimed low, because whats the point of aiming high if we were only playing on luck? Especially after 4 years of 'B' and 'C' division trainings which all ended up with nothing but lost hopes.
This year, we started with a comparatively easier group, but not without it challenges. If not for the effort we put in during trainings and coach's guidance (and all the support from everyone), we could have been knocked out sooner than we expected.
No schools noticed us initially, some even predicted a sure-win playing with us. We faced stereotypes, belittling and underestimation. But now, we are starting to prove them wrong.
We are no easy kill, and you better start noticing us. (Not just for the strikingly yellow jersey)
We have started well, but the end is still far. Good job team, but we need to stay consistent. Nothing may stop us now, but anything can stop us now. Injuries, complacency, lost focus or even pride.
We have gone further than we truthfully ever expected, but that does not make us the best. There is nothing wrong with losing proudly and winning humbly. We have more to face, more to overcome, more to conquer.
Maintain the team spirit, continue the consistency, keep our focus, challenge the challenges, and we shall continue to triumph, with humility.
