volleyball finals

Today's volleyball finals was an eye-opener/mouth-opener/jaw-dropping experience!

First, our girls won AJ 3-0 to be throned champions once again! Their efforts really paid off man, and it just goes to show that they are so strong until they are in a state of imbaness because they can even beat the second team 3-0. I admire them for staying so calm and performing up to standard even when all the supporters in Toa Payoh Stadium are so damn distracting. And I am jealous for their gold medal!

Then it was the guys battle between NYJC and AJC. It was really a clash between the 2 strongest team of the whole 'A' Div competition. NY's too-fast-to-be-seen quick thunders and AJ's smart variations. AJ's setter was really good, composed and consisted, AHH makes me feel so incompetent!! But at least I got a better figure compared to him. o.0 NY's team was all the tall imba shits again. And all the players look like their coach la, wth? The no. 6 that looks like 'L' in death note only played for a while. MUAhaha. No chance for him to show his demonic smile to his opponent. :p

AJ won the first set, but lost the next 3 on a close margin. Their spikes were really powerful, but wat was admirable was that many of them were received and returned. Although they were obviously nervous at some point, there were many high-level play and rallies too! Sooo exciting!! NY won the champs in the end, but AJ really really put up a good fight.

And for the first time in 6 years, I actually received a medal for volleyball! Our team got 4th!! It is already quite an impressive achievement, considering we only have 1 dsa student + remaining never-before-seen noobass The Chinese High School volleyball team players, we were truly the underdogs this year! Wee! Hurray! And we actually beat the CHAMPS before! In the first round! Maybe NY put in their some of their second team, but... TOO BAD! And that makes us the only team that managed to beat NY. haha.

And that concludes this year's volleyball season. (<- very abrupt ending)

Now that season is over, its time to get back to work. I have much to catch up and I have slacked too much. Time is running short everyday, and I am lucky my season ended early. For those who are still having competitions or performances, PUT IN YOUR BEST! And you will have time for Full-Time mugging once everything ends. =)

In fact, I got 2 tests to study and 2 tutorials to prepare tomorrow! Time for overnight mugging with a gigantic mug of iced milo.

Btw, I got some good news to announce. Which is... MY GP ESSAY GOT PUBLISHED ON GP BULLETIN! Wee I am so proud of that, that my noob essay actually got published and placed together with other 5-pages thesis that, in every 5 words, contains 1 word that looks suspiciously mispelt but is actually just too chim for us to understand. And it was annotated, meaning the GP teacher had a chance to criticise. I think they purposely chose one not-so-perfect essay, so that they can laugh at the noobness. But no matter what, I am so happy that all the J2 GP students spent money printing that 3 pages of MY ESSAY! =D Although its just a few cents. :P

And... THE BEST PART IS? THE ******* GP TEACHER THAT ANNOTATED THE ESSAY... referred to the writer as 'she'. What the ******. If they can choose my essay to publish, cant they even have the ********* courtesy to check my ******* gender? Instead of inferring from my name? And even if they want to infer, at least ask some chinese teacher! Whatever since I duno who actually annotated it. -_- Not to forget my chinese (I bilingual de, so smart ;D hehehe) essay that got published on some essay book, and the name was printed as hu mei3 qun, all because I didn't write my name clearly. Makes me feel so proud but at the same time humiliated everytime you know... =(

But whatever, I am still happy anyway. I never would have expected my essay to end up in GP bulletin anyway.

=)
