PROM

Wasn't as fun as I expected.

After spending so much time and money buying outfits and days of "prom coming liao, how?!", it wasn't really life-changing. I am just glad that the clothes I bought were re-wearable.

We guys groomed ourselves at rifeng's house and cabbed down to Shangri-la. One by one we arrived at the hotel and we commented on how each other looked. All that preparation just for that moment, to gain that "Wah!" from anyone who knows you. Then people started camwhoring, collecting photos with everyone they know either for reminiscence sake or simply for facebook.

Some people were desperate to appear in every photos, while some were happier being the cameraman.

So how can I blog about prom without posting beautiful beautiful photos!!

Yes I can. I din bring a camera and I din take alot of photos I guess and I am just lazy to find them. :)

So, we then squeezed at the small entrance area awaiting entrance (its called cocktail party), till we finally entered the ballroom which was equally squeezy. I think our class tables were pretty dead, because most of the time half the table is empty. And we wasted alot of food as well, not like the food is very nice.... but i liked the dessert. :)

The performance were... i think... actually i was in the toilet. The contests were pretty ok, and our class is the pro-est to earn 2 big big titles. :)

Finally we watched the prom video (why do I keep feeling 'prom video' looks really wrong if you don't look at it clearly) and we sang songs together. :)

Therefore, overall, i will give it a rating of... 3/5!
You won't want to miss prom, but you may not really enjoy it anyway. :)

After prom we cabbed down to Clarke Quay and was finding for clubs/bar/pubs (whats the diff anw?) to chill out. I thought the post-prom-party at Attica was pretty cool because I took a peek inside and it looked like what those Channel 8 shows always show and maybe we could have taken a look. But there was an entrance fee and guess I won't want to stay for long so it wont be worth anw. So we guys went to the bar beside and ordered a jug of beer. And its freaking ex!!! I am too poor to be a clubs/bar/pubs person. -_- At least I finally got to rest and stone there to regain some strength.

Then we cabbed (again) back to rifeng's house, bathed, watched I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry, slept a while, and finally took bus home at 7am. I was so tired when I reached home I slept for almost 24hrs. -_-

So here I am, finally free of all worries and finally free to enjoy life. I should be glad, at least I got one month to relax while kiameng is already at tekong. NS seems ok for him I guess, no complaints from him.. yet. Hope he enjoys. :)

And now I am gonna spend my 1 month time watching videos, reading, jogging, tuitioning, outingings and many more! And stay happy. :)
