Update!

Hey people!
I really wanted to update after so longggg you see, ...but am just too busy and tired to gather my thoughts. :(
Time has passed and many things have happened. Most importantly 'A's finally ended, followed by outings and a lot of fun.
'A's wasn't as well done as i expected. The GP paper almost made me cry but now I am not gonna think about it. The other papers were average, with the occasional careless mistakes and stupid mistakes. Ah heck! ITS OVER!
These few days we had class chalet, which was really nice :).
And i started tuitioning 2 kids, who are actually my cousin's boyfriend's brothers. One of them is going to be Sec 4 and the other is Sec 2, which means... 'got standard one leh!'. Some people actually preferred tuitioning pri sch kids, but not me! Because that will be such an insult to my intelligence! At least when teaching Sec Sch kids there is interaction (mentally, not physically one la u pervert, though i was slightly secretly disappointed when i knew the tutees were both boys) and the stuffs u are teaching are closer to u. Even the Sec 2 stuffs i am teaching are pretty lame. -_-
I was teaching 'acid and base' to the sec 4 kid and the next moment i am teaching the sec 2 one how to look at maps. Last lesson got even lamer when I taught him heat energy, about 'expansions and contractions'. You can imagine i was telling him:
"ya so when temperature increase, the thing will expand, and when temperature decrease the thing contract and become smaller"
and
"cold air sinks and hot air rises"
wahlao so 'duh' lor... all the facts. So most probably if you are teaching pri sch kids, it will be like:
"this is a butterfly! see got wings and feelers, soo cute!! (feigning excitement to get the kid's attention)"
or
"that is a Pong Pong Tree! Eat the fruit and you die!" (like we really care about pong pong trees)
Even worse you may be bombarded by questions. Some are plain stupid, some are just facts, and sometimes the question may be really hard and i have problem explaining and start to worry about what excuse to give... "Hmm, teacher haven't teach this topic yet!", "Oh, this question is OUT OF SYLLABUS!" or the best: "考试不会出的啦!" o.0 lol just kidding.
Now i understand how mrs leo felt when we asked her questions which she have trouble explaining. :) hehee
Btw the tutees have really 'niao' names. Not 'niao' in the sense of 'maodun' kind (oops, i hope he doesnt visit my blog), but literally. The sec 2 kid is called egbert, sec 4 kid is hubert and their brother is called ambert. lol i just enter their family's phone number name as BERT. Hubert is hoping to enter HC because he is from CO, so when he knew i was from HC he most probably respected me a little bit more. :D
Erm, I wrote so much. There is more...if u are not tired already.
Last week after 'A's ended (wow last week only..., like zhexi mentioned, it really felt like so much time has passed), zhexi invited us to his house for an overnight stay before he move out of his damn big terrace (but ulu). Sometimes I get really amazed by these big houses, which basically looks like raffles hotel, with really nice wooden floors and huge windows and their toilets all look so clean and shouts "BATHE IN ME!". AHH. i am jealous.
So at zhexi's house he treated us pizzas, egg tarts and soon kueh haha. and we watched some movies, played some uno, played at the playground (the merry-go-round was crazy).
omg photos! since i have no camera now, my photos will be sourced from kiam and waikuan's albums. thanks :)
and we drank zhexi's favourite, absolut vodka too. Oh man i am not going to question vodka lover's preference, but I don't understand the pleasure of drinking something that smells like alcohol, stings your throat and burns your stomach. Ok fine fine~ roll your eyes, but I will really be much much happier to drink milk... because 啤酒伤身体~! :)
The next day, we went to Mrs Leo's house. She invited us! Her house was simple, quite common among young couples i guess. Lol, we didn't really do much there. The girls were making pizzas and popiah while the guys were stoning watching epic movie. We watch the uncensored version of Love Actually too, and i was so disappointed when i saw Laura Linney's boobies, because my impression of her was the serious and mature attorney in The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Haha.
Mrs Leo showed us her ROM videos and wedding photos too. So sweet, and soooo pweetty! (quote lihui)
=)
Finally finally, class chalet ended on wednesday. Have been awaiting it for so long, and VROOM! its over!
The chalet wasn't as bad although it was just beside the main road. But the chalets with big grass fields were much better :p. And our chalet was just opposite old changi hospital! lol. It wasn't exactly the most exciting chalet, but it always feel nice to stay together as a class like a big family; rushing to chope the rooms after finally finding the right key to open the main entrance; squeezing together in front of the small television watching movie etc... Everyone just feel so close to one another.
Changi is a nice place. I love to watch the aeroplanes taking off and touching down. Its so amazing to actually see such a big piece of metal fly. And it was fun guessing the airline too. haha :)
First night we watched Silent Hill together, my suggestion. I thought the movie was suspenseful and not just mindless stupid gore and horror. Always liked to rewatch movies which i felt was nice, especially with others, because after watching a nice movie i have this urge to share it with others, although they may not really like it. lol, i just love to watch their responses.
We walked around Changi Village to explore before that, searching for bike rentals until we finally found one store, which i thought had pathetically little and old bikes initially. Wasnt tt bad afterall.
And that night we went for a mini bike hike. Biked down Changi to the airport, and rode down the straight and endless Changi Coast Road, while planes keep taking off just right beside the road. Its damn cool! I would turn my head and watch planes fly and FWAH!~~ like a little kid while my bike wobbles. lol.. It should be the closest spot ever to view planes take off. =)
After we went back, it was time to explore old changi hospital! It was already almost 2am. Never been there before, and i admit i was afraid, but i contained it well i suppose. :)
11 of us (or was it 12? i counted 12?) huddled together as we explored the different areas of the hospital. Kiameng was probably the least afraid, but the remaining of us held onto each other like little kids. lol.
No one wanted to be the first, and no one wanted to be the last, but according to the logic of common sense (watever), someone will be in front and someone behind, unless we found 'someone' else.
meiyuan is so cute
A couple of times i was at the back, and i had this urge to look back.
And i took this photo:
omg...
You saw that?...
HAHA fake one la! It was just darkness and i couldnt see anything. The place was just tattered and glass pieces everywhere. And it was so badly vandalised.
I got interested about the place and went back to check wikipedia, but they din have an entry on it. I really wanted to see how it looked like in its heyday. Aww :( but i read a writeup on some website. Pretty interesting...
"...they are all hiding behind the window pane or the back of the door WATCHING at you... Usually we can only see them with their back facing us, they seldom show their front"
WTH
next day me nengjie and waikuan tried to catch the sunrise. but it was cloudy...
i looked handsome here
Everyone slept really late the last night. Second day got pretty boring because we have ran out of things to do. :p Some of us went to visit OCH again in daylight because kiameng was pestering people to go. lol he was really interested. It wasnt really scary in the day, maybe just disgusting.
That night we had our BBQ. Pretty small scale BBQ because there wasnt alot of space around the pit. I enjoyed making Bandung and bbqing satays. lol.
酒鬼s
why maodun so happy?
Chalet this year wasnt exactly the most well-planned, but the spirit was good and i believe everyone left the place with a :).
Lets hope we can plan a 06s66 chalet again next year :)

Ok, I finally finished my half-written entry, so i shall proceed to more recent events, before prom comes up tomorrow and this entry just get longer and longer without ever being posted.
These few days have been really tiring and heartbreaking, because i spent all my bonds and assets and savings and 私房钱 and 老婆本 and 棺材本 on my prom outfit. lihui and waikuan was rite, it really costs alot, but please dun niao me for spending... im gonna teach tuition 24/7 to earn back the money. i wish~
And we spent soooo much time. No, i actually meant sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much time. I admit guys can be really po po ma ma, because we want to get the nicest looking, but cheapest item, while making sure it fits the whole look. In short, its like piecing a 5000-piece jigsaw puzzle. pissifying.
We can walk around the shopping centre many many rounds, adding up to maybe 6 2.4km run. Considering that we were at vivo today, it should be around 9. And... we can enter a shop so many times a day.
First time we enter a shop, we sniff the air, feel the breeze, check the aircon temperature, and take a slight peek at the clothes.
Then we walk to another shop and repeat the same process until there isnt any other shop, we return to the first one, and start to take a more detailed look at the clothes, feel it, try it on sometimes, decide a while, and conclude "lets check out other store first".
We walk another time round the shopping centre.
Finally, we RETURN TO THE SAME SHOP.
TAKE THE SAME ITEM WE TRIED.
Sometimes we ask for a different size or a new one.
and FINALLY FINALLY, we pay and walk out with a :).
And then, we realised we need to get another item and the whole process loops.
x.x
Ok maybe this does not really apply to me, but look around and CCC and u will know who. haha :)
Anyway we finally got our outfits. Im going all-black, and hope with my new hairstyle tml it will look nice. =/ and hope prom will be fun!
okok... im really tired already. Spent so much energy and attention on blogging that i have been listening to the same song looping for so many times. Blog another day! :)
